What we are here to do
Our founder spent years in accounting firms across the UK and came away with one clear view: one-size-fits-all doesn't work.
Every business has its own needs and deserves advice that fits it. So A1 is built on personal service and real relationships with clients. Accountancy can feel dull or even intimidating, so we keep it relaxed and simple, agree the price before we start, and make sure you understand what your accounts and tax return are telling you.

Georgia is the founder and lead accountant of A1 Accounts & Taxation. She has worked in the accounting industry for 7 years across various firms throughout the UK. She created A1 Accounts with the vision of building a firm that would be every business owner’s go-to when it comes to truly understanding their financial position & growing a relationship with their accountant that they can wholly rely on.
Georgia has a huge passion for bringing the life back into accounting, by making it genuinely interesting, yet simple & understandable to all. Gone are the days of accounting jargon, pinstripe suits and long drawn out financial meetings!
A1 Accounts & Taxation Limited is MAAT licensed and regulated, providing services in accordance with licence number 1007322. AAT is recognised by HM Revenue & Customs to supervise compliance with the Anti-Money Laundering Regulations and A1 Accounts & Taxation Limited is supervised by the AAT in this respect.
